What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at ECA Power?
The ECA Power team is expanding upon our development efforts to include owning and operating our own assets. We are seeking a Project Manager to work with our team of engineers and project developers to execute on the construction of DG solar projects. This position will report to the Director, Development Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering complex renewable energy projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards . This position is a strategic addition to our team as we continue to have fun growing our portfolio of renewable energy assets.
Desired skills and experience:
- Lead execution of rooftop and ground-mounted DG projects from late stage development through commercial operation.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and overall financial performance, including identifying value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for EPC, utilities, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Drive resolution of project risks, technical challenges, and commercial issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and contractual requirements.
- Support project commissioning, testing, turnover, and closeout activities.
- Experience with construction management software platforms, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet
- Strong understanding of EPC project delivery, subcontract management, and construction execution.
- Detailed knowledge of all phases of solar project development, including engineering, procurement, and construction and project management (EPC/EPCM)
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with prevailing wage
- Must be able to walk active job sites, including on unpaved or uneven ground, and wear required PPE at all times while on site.
Compensation:
- Base compensation for this position will range from $115,000 to $135,000 depending on experience. This position will also participate in our discretionary bonus program.

Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
