After promoting our Senior Estimator, we are seeking an experienced estimator who shares the same core values. The ideal candidate has a strong background in insurance restoration projects, keen eye for detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to prepare accurate estimates for residential and commercial losses. The primary territory for the position is the state of RI, with some inspections in Eastern CT and Southeastern MA.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site inspections and document damages thoroughly
Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for residential and commercial restoration projects
Communicate respectfully, promptly and effectively with project coordinators, project managers, clients and adjusters throughout the restoration process
Assist with budgeting, cost analysis and change orders
Maintain organized project documentation and ensure timely submissions
Qualifications:
5 years of experience as an estimator in the insurance restoration industry
Knowledgeable in construction and assessment of damage
Proficient in Xactimate
Knowledgeable in DASH (helpful)
Strong understanding of insurance claim processes and restoration procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
