Position Overview
As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing a variety of tile materials with precision and care. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Key Responsibilities
- Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and specialty tiles with expert precision
- Prepare surfaces and ensure proper alignment and spacing
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and sealants
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet design specifications and timelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tile installation (minimum 3 years preferred)
- Familiarity with tools, materials, and safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality

Responsibilities
- Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and corners.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives.
- Install tiles on floors, walls, and ceilings using appropriate techniques.
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles for a professional finish.
- Perform grouting and sealing of installed tiles to protect against moisture.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and drywall installers, to complete projects efficiently.
- Restore damaged areas by replacing or repairing tiles as needed.
- Conduct water damage restoration tasks when required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to tile installation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating for project planning.
- Experience with fixture installation to ensure proper integration with tiled surfaces.
