Exco Industrial is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of industrial power and control systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design work, electrical system analysis, and creating detailed documentation that supports manufacturing and field operations.

- Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using SOLIDWORKS Electrical.
- Design and specify electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, panelboards, and control panels.
- Perform electrical studies such as fault current, voltage drop, and arc flash analysis.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), parts lists, and engineering documentation.
- Support PLC panel design, component selection, and wire routing within electrical enclosures.
- Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and IEC standards.
- Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and implementation of electrical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience designing industrial power distribution and control systems.
- Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS Electrical (2D/3D) or similar electrical design software.
- Knowledge of power system analysis tools such as ETAP, SKM, or equivalent.
- Understanding of electrical codes and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with substations, switchgear, and industrial control systems.
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience integrating electrical and mechanical designs in a 3D environment.
