Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct routine floor care such as buffing, polishing, and basic maintenance to ensure surfaces remain pristine and safe.
- Support custodial tasks for both commercial and residential spaces, including window cleaning and light maintenance as needed.
- Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to the appropriate team.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, entrances, and parking lots to promote a welcoming environment.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Keep detailed records of completed tasks and supplies used to ensure efficient operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
