What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Technician - Junior Level position at eBryIT, Inc.?
Computer Field Technician will travel to customer sites within Charleston and surrounding areas.
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment.
- De-installation of old legacy systems.
- Installation of new computer systems.
- Imaging computers.
- Installs over network imaging.
- All school sites in Charleston County School District.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the numerous school sites.
- Proof of good driving history. Good MVR over the last 3 years.
- Proficient with excel spreadsheets and MS Office 365 products.
- Tech needs to be able to keep up with the high pace of installs and crawl under desks to the wire.
- Must be able to stoop, bend and kneel throughout the day.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma. Associates degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services.
- Two-year college or technical school preferred and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a good driving record over the last 3 years.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to all customer sites.
Required to pass a national criminal background check, drug screen and sexual offender registry & mvr check.
