(W2VHE) Level 2 Computer Field Techs – 1 years of business professional working experience in the computer installation field. In addition to experience, Comptia A certification and/or associate's degree in computer field is preferred.
**Position has the potential to turn into full-time over a period of time**
Job Details:
- Location: Travel across the Michigan University Campuses throughout Ann Arbor
- Work days: Monday through Friday.
- Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (30 min. lunch & two 15 min. breaks)
- Duration: Annual renew
Job Description:
- Main campus site for device install, de-install, and general setup.
- Installation and De-installation of PC Computers.
- Imaging SCCM in Customer staging area.
- Familiar with Data Migration via USMT (as needed).
- Updating Customer ticketing system.
- Familiar with printer Installation.
- Intermediate or above level with Microsoft Excel.
- Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Minimum State auto insurance on your vehicle.
- Good driving record over the last 3-years. (2 or less traffic violations).
- Must be able to clear a full criminal background check/drug test and get all the necessary vaccinations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Repetitive motion capability, good eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity sufficient to assemble units or small parts of equipment, detailed oriented, and ability to work alone.
Vaccination Requirements:
The process may take up to 2 weeks. (Reimbursement on first paycheck)
- Measles, mumps, rubella (MRM).
- Varicella.
- Pertussis.
- Tetanus and diphtheria (Tdap vaccination is required).
- Influenza (current season).
- Proof of a negative TB skin or blood test within the past year, as applicable.
REQUIRED:
- Level 2: Associate's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services, or related field, or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background check/drug screening required.
