Description

About EBR Systems

At EBR Systems, we're not imagining the future of cardiac care. We're building it. We are the team behind the world's first FDA-approved leadless left ventricular endocardial pacing device for heart failure. It's a breakthrough that's redefining what's possible, and it's just the beginning.

Based in Silicon Valley, we're advancing the WiSE System, a first-of-its-kind device in cardiac rhythm management. Your work here has a direct line to patients whose lives depend on what we build. We hire people who want to solve hard problems and who care about getting it right.

We invest in our people as much as our technology. Expect a collaborative, transparent culture, real career growth in a fast-moving startup, competitive compensation, equity, comprehensive benefits, and generous PTO.

If you want your work to matter, EBR is where you belong.

The Opportunity

This is a full-lifecycle Product Manager role and a foundational hire for our growing Marketing team. This is an onsite role at our Santa Clara office, with the ability to work from home 2 days per week. The WiSE CRT System is a multi-component platform supported by an active R&D portfolio and an ambitious commercial ramp. You will own product management responsibilities spanning upstream needs-finding and roadmap through downstream launch execution and sustaining operations, partnering across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, Operations, Sales, and Training. If you want end-to-end ownership and direct proximity to physicians and the technology, this role offers unusual breadth.

Essential And Other Duties And Responsabilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Upstream Product Management

  • Collect Voice of Customer inputs to help prioritize R&D projects and develop marketing requirements documents (MRDs).
  • Lead ongoing market & competitive analysis
  • Build and maintain the total addressable market (TAM) model; refine it as clinical and market data mature.
  • Channel user and field feedback into Leadership reviews on post-market surveillance

Downstream Product Management & Launch

  • Lead go-to-market planning and new product launches — launch strategy, cross-functional coordination, forecasting and availability, and physician and sales training hand-off.
  • Own product positioning, value propositions, and core messaging, tailored to key customer and stakeholder segments.
  • Develop and maintain the product claims matrix, partnering with Clinical and Regulatory to align claims with its supporting evidence and approved language.
  • Build sales enablement tools and training — playbooks, pitch decks, objection-handling and in-service guides, clinical-evidence talking points, and case libraries — in partnership with Sales, Training, and Clinical.
  • Provide product-related content for marketing assets (brochures, presentations, digital assets, product animations, trade-show materials) to Marketing Communications and creative partners.
  • Manage product transitions in the field, including component end-of-life, inventory swaps, and equipment upgrades.

Commercial Operations & Sustaining

  • Own SKU lifecycle management — creation, specification, configuration, discontinuation, and maintenance across all products and accessories.
  • Define demo/non-sterile product requirements for in-service, Training, and marketing/sales activities.
  • Set up e-fulfillment for promotional & demonstration items for the field

Cross-Functional Leadership & Compliance

  • Facilitate needs from the Commercial organization (Sales, Training, Marketing) across internal EBR teams in R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, Operations/Supply Chain.
  • Operate within the design-control and quality-management-system framework; maintain audit-ready documentation and reasoning.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsabilities

  • None

Qualifications

Education and Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, business, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of product management experience in medical devices, with demonstrated ownership across the product lifecycle — from upstream needs-finding through commercial launch.
  • Direct experience leading or materially supporting a product launch (NPI) in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with SKU lifecycle management.
  • Experience with promotional material and sales tool development.
  • Can be an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Working knowledge of VOC / needs-finding methods and the ability to translate customer insight into requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills, including Excel and comfort working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with design controls, quality-management systems, and the regulatory constraints governing device labeling and claims.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-ready deliverables.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, small-cap medical device environment; able to work on-site in Santa Clara, CA and travel to clinical cases and conferences.

Preferred

  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience in cardiac rhythm management, electrophysiology, cardiac resynchronization, or structural heart.
  • Experience launching Class III or active implantable devices and working with clinicians.

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
