The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join the EBONY family. The graphic designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging designs for various digital platforms including social media, websites, and digital content. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, But Not Limited To)
- Create engaging and eye-catching graphics for digital marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Work within existing brand guidelines and designs to version out and produce digital assets; Create and implement multimedia content for social media, email, and marketing initiatives across Klayvio, Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and Tik Tok.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing and enterprise teammates to ensure that timelines and output demands are being met.
- Conceptualize assignments by designing rough layout of art and copy while ensuring all specifications for that particular asset or project are being met size, type, resolution, format, guidelines, etc. Submit proofs to EVP, Brand & Marketing for approval; Adjust design submittals and copy according to direction provided EVP, Brand & Marketing and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate digital experiences and produce graphics for content calendars across social channels; use social media marketing and project management tools such as but not limited to Sprout Social, Creator Studio, Tweet deck, Panoply, Smartsheet.
- Must present and communicate design concepts and ideas to the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience working in a start-up environment in a hyper-growth stage
- Proven experience as a graphic designer or similar role
- 5 years’ experience in graphic design
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Ability to be highly organized and manage several deadline-driven projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Resourceful, proactive and positive, do-whatever-it-takes attitude, and a true team player.
