THE ROLE
As a Account Manager at EBONY, you will be pivotal in nurturing and expanding relationships with our key client accounts. Acting as the primary liaison, you will ensure client satisfaction, strategically align our products and services with their needs, and enhance loyalty.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with key client accounts, serving as their main point of contact and advisor.
Understanding Client Needs: Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure successful execution of client projects and campaigns.
Account Performance & Growth: Monitor account performance, using data and insights to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
Client Communication: Conduct regular check-ins and updates with clients, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback.
Presentations & Proposals: Develop and deliver engaging presentations to clients, highlighting EBONY's products and services.
Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations and agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction and alignment on deliverables and expectations.
Industry & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity to proactively address client needs and position EBONY as a market leader.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and UpToDate records of client interactions, feedback, and sales activities in our CRM system.
Supervision & Mentorship: Supervise and mentor Campaign Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful marketing campaign execution. Foster professional development and promote collaboration among team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or equivalent role, with a focus on large accounts.
- Strong understanding of sales and account management principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (especially PowerPoint).
- Ability to lead and manage a team, with experience in mentoring or supervision.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Informed about current industry trends and market conditions.
- Flexibility with prioritization and goals as roles and responsibilities may shift according to the needs of the business.
