About Ebon Energy
Ebon Energy is building its U.S. presence in the power and energy infrastructure market, with a focus on transformer and power-distribution solutions serving the growing needs of data centers, utilities, and other critical infrastructure customers.
As we expand our U.S. operations, we are building the people, processes, and organizational capabilities needed to support sustainable growth. We are looking for hands-on professionals who enjoy building practical solutions, working across functions, and contributing directly to the development of a growing organization.
The Opportunity
Ebon Energy is seeking an experienced HR Generalist – Talent Acquisition & Operations to support the continued build-out of our U.S. organization.
This is a hands-on role combining talent acquisition and HR operations. The position will support recruiting across commercial, engineering, technical, and corporate functions while also helping manage onboarding, employee records, payroll and benefits coordination, HR compliance administration, and day-to-day employee support.
You will work closely with HR leadership, business leaders, hiring managers, external recruiting partners, and service providers to support current hiring initiatives while helping establish practical and scalable HR processes for Ebon Energy's growing U.S. operations.
What You'll Do
- Support full-cycle recruiting across commercial, engineering, technical, and corporate positions, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and hiring-manager communication.
- Coordinate with external recruiters, search firms, universities, and other talent-acquisition partners as needed.
- Manage offer-letter workflow, background-check coordination, pre-employment processes, onboarding, employee records, and offboarding.
- Coordinate payroll, benefits, and HR service providers/PEO where applicable.
- Maintain employee handbook materials, HR policies, leave records, personnel documentation, and core HR compliance administration.
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers and escalate specialized matters when appropriate.
- Support Irving office administration and provide HR coordination for employees in North Carolina.
- Track headcount, open requisitions, candidate pipelines, recruiting progress, and basic HR metrics.
- Maintain organized and confidential employee and recruiting records.
- Coordinate with external employment counsel, benefits providers, brokers, and HR specialists when specialized support is required.
- Help develop and improve practical HR processes, templates, workflows, and documentation as the U.S. organization grows.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of U.S. HR generalist, HR operations, talent acquisition/recruiting, or closely related HR experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting recruiting and the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, employee records, and offboarding.
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices, HR documentation, payroll and benefits coordination, and general HR compliance administration.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing and fast-moving environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, candidates, managers, and external partners.
- High level of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential employee and business information.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions and locations.
- Experience supporting a growing industrial, manufacturing, engineering, energy, or B2B organization is preferred.
- Experience with PEOs, multi-state employment, manufacturing HR, or recruiting technical and sales talent is a plus.
Why Join Ebon Energy?
This is an opportunity to join Ebon Energy at an important stage of our U.S. growth and help build the HR foundation that will support the organization as it expands.
Rather than stepping into a highly specialized HR position, you will have the opportunity to work across talent acquisition, HR operations, employee support, benefits and payroll coordination, compliance administration, and organizational growth.
You will work closely with leadership and have the opportunity to help shape practical HR processes from the ground up while gaining broad exposure to the development of Ebon Energy's U.S. organization.
For an HR professional who enjoys building—not simply maintaining—established processes, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Compensation & Benefits
Ebon Energy offers a competitive compensation package designed to recognize individual performance and contribution to the company's continued growth.
Specific compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, responsibilities, and applicable company programs.
