Financial Planning Assistant (BA Degree & Finance Experience Required)

A 29-year-old financial planning practice expanded in Ridgewood and Chatham offices seeking an individual who wants to assist a Certified Financial Planner. Must be able to talk with clients, understand finance, and multitask. Ideally, a candidate will have experience working on both large and small scale projects as the job entails both. A BA degree and office experience in financial services is a requirement.

Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook on PC. Experience in financial services is a prerequisite.

Salary and Benefits compensation are negotiable and based on experience.

Responsibilities
- Assist financial planners in creating financial plans for clients based on their goals and risk tolerance.
- Conduct research on investment opportunities and present findings to the team.
- Support in managing client portfolios and monitoring their performance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide financial product information to clients.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and documents for client meetings.
- Maintain client records accurately and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
