Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall installation, and painting
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to prevent future issues
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with appliances, fixtures, or structural components
- Install or replace hardware, fixtures, or appliances as needed
- Respond promptly to repair requests and prioritize tasks effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after projects
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair status and completion timelines
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
Experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar maintenance role preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting techniques
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently
- Driving a truck is a plus
- Prior experience working independently or as part of a team is advantageous
