Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Summary: This position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and communication of escalated customer shipments, inventory discrepancies and data entry and reporting for the receiving team. 

Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following: 

• Serve as the main point of contact for commercial teams (Sales, Customer Experience) to escalate customer shipment needs and order inquiries.


• Field and respond to shipment-related inquiries via email in a timely and professional manner.


• Locate and confirm inventory availability in SAP to support open customer orders.


• Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritize, pick, pack, and ship orders, including expedited/air-freight orders.


• Provide daily updates to commercial teams on orders shipped and orders planned to ship, including any delays or exceptions.


• Verify quantities against packing slips and shipping documentation.


• Investigate inventory discrepancies and work to resolve them with other departments


• Clean up Receiving area reports 

Recommended Education and/or Experience:

• Prior experience working with an ERP system (SAP preferred)


• Experience with H.T.S. (Harmonized Tariff Codes) codes and Incoterms.


• Bachelors Degree in a related field; or minimum two years related experience; or combination of education and related experience.


• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
