Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries to create a welcoming shopping environment
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash register operations
- Handle cash drawer management, cash handling, and reconcile daily sales with accuracy
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Maintain stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure attractive displays
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette
- Support store operations by assisting with retail math calculations for sales totals and discounts
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customers effectively
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising standards, and customer service best practices
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage customers confidently
- Willingness to learn about product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management processes
