ROLE OVERVIEW
The IT Operations Manager at EBIN NEW YORK will oversee the company’s day-to-day IT infrastructure, security systems, and technical support operations. This role ensures that all employees have a stable, secure, and efficient working environment by managing devices, accounts, networks, servers, and internal systems. This position is essential to supporting company-wide operations and sustaining a reliable and secure IT foundation as the organization continues to grow.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first-line IT help desk support to internal users by troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues.
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and user accounts for onboarding and offboarding.
- Monitor and manage company network infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, routers, switches).
- Operate and maintain NAS, servers, storage units, and backup systems, including scheduled backups and recovery checks.
- Operate and maintain security systems including CCTV, NVR, access control, and alarm systems; respond to issues and coordinate repairs.
- Monitor and build databases for internal data analysis to support cross-departmental operations.
- Manage, maintain, configure, and upgrade internal systems, software, network, and equipment.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of IT equipment and services.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and security protocols.
- Manage IT assets, including forecasting needs and reporting on expenditures.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in IT operations, help desk, infrastructure management, or IT security.
- Strong understanding of Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
- Experience managing NAS, servers, storage systems, or backup environments.
- Experience operating CCTV/NVR, access control, or alarm/security systems preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to document processes clearly and maintain IT records accurately.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
