We’re looking for a Design Coordinator who can guide clients through selections while keeping projects organized and ready for production.
Position Overview
The Design Coordinator plays a key role in connecting sales, design, and production—ensuring selections are finalized, accurate, and aligned with project budgets.
This is a full time client-facing detail-driven role, ideal for someone who enjoys both design and execution.
Responsibilities
Client & Design Coordination
- Guide clients through material selections (fixtures, finishes, layouts)
- Present curated options based on budget and scope
- Help clients make confident decisions efficiently
Sales Support
- Work alongside sales to finalize scope of work
- Adjust pricing as selections change
- Ensure selections align with margin targets
Vendor Coordination
- Work with suppliers and showrooms
- Source materials and confirm availability
- Track lead times and flag delays early
Project Handoff
- Finalize all selections before project start
- Create clear scope sheets for production
- Ensure complete, organized project documentation
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple active projects
- Comfort working directly with clients
- Basic construction or remodeling understanding
Preferred:
- Remodeling or interior design experience
- Familiarity with BuilderTrend or similar tools
- Knowledge of common materials (tile, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures)
