Role Description The Machine Operator is a full-time remote role responsible for safely operating and monitoring metal fabrication machinery and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines according to specifications, loading and unloading materials, checking measurements, and performing routine inspections to ensure consistent quality. The role involves following production schedules, documenting output, and reporting any mechanical or process issues promptly. The Machine Operator will collaborate with supervisors and team members through remote communication tools to coordinate workflows, review job requirements, and maintain accurate records. The position requires adherence to safety standards, basic equipment care, and continuous attention to process improvements and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong Machine Operation skills with the ability to work safely with various types of Machinery.
- Experience with Quality Control practices, including measuring parts, verifying tolerances, and documenting results.
- Proficiency using Hand Tools and basic equipment for setup, adjustments, and minor maintenance.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with remote supervisors, coworkers, and support teams.
- Understanding of manufacturing or metal fabrication processes and safety regulations.
