The SEO Specialist is responsible for optimizing Ebenezer’s digital presence to increase visibility, drive website traffic, and improve search engine rankings while also managing and monitoring the organization’s social media platforms. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role involves developing and implementing SEO strategies, overseeing social media content and performance, and reviewing data to improve digital engagement. The SEO Specialist collaborates closely with the digital marketing team, content creators/writers, and design teams to ensure SEO best practices and effective social media strategies are integrated into all marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for optimization and content creation.
Optimize on-page elements, including metadata, headings, content, images, and internal linking structures.
Collaborate with the content writer and digital marketing team to ensure content is optimized for search engines while maintaining quality and readability.
Perform technical SEO audits and work with web developers to resolve issues such as broken links, crawl errors, and site speed improvements.
Monitor and manage Ebenezer’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding, engagement, and alignment with marketing goals.
Plan and schedule social media content, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to increase reach and engagement.
Monitor and analyze SEO and social media performance metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, conversion rates, and audience engagement, and provide regular reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three or more years experience
- Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phone, fax machines.
- MS Office, SharePoint, Project Management Tools, Social Media Scheduling tools, SEO Audit and Keyword tools
