The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the senior age residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines within our Assisted Living/Memory Care Communities.
This nursing position is on call/casual hours; ability to pick up shifts ahead for pre-planned needs and for last minute needs
This position provides support across the Ebenezer organization for our many Minnesota Assisted Living/Memory Care Community locations
Day/Evening
This position requires working 3 shifts per month with 1 weekend shift and 1 holiday per year

Responsibilities Job Description
- Maintains current assessment and documentation using progress notes of resident health status
- Implements new and updates current resident care plan
- Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and getting orders as needed
- Handles and coordinates timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
- Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff
Qualifications
Required:
- Current MN RN license or by start date
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
- (3 week grace period for BLS)
Preferred:
- Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
- Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
- Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
