Meadows on Fairview Senior Living, is Ebenezer’s 51 Unit Assisted Living and Transitional Care Community located in Wyoming, MN near Highway 35, County Roads 8, and 61. Conveniently across the street from Fairview Lakes Hospital and Dialysis center offering a full continuum of care for our residents. This position is responsible for driving the bus/van for purposes of providing and addressing transportation needs of the Ebenezer Community, individual, and group transportation.
Responsibilities
- Productivity and Initiative
- Completes transportation routes and duties in a timely manner.
- Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks performed throughout the driving period.
- Organizes work assignments.
- Modifies schedule to accommodate the need of passengers.
- Ensures compliance with all requirements pertaining to operation of special transportation vehicle.
- Communicates with supervisor about needed equipment and supplies.
- Dependability
- Provides supervisor with adequate notification of schedule difficulties.
- Follows policies and procedures of Ebenezer and state and federal rules and regulations.
- Functions effectively with limited direct supervision.
- Safety and Health
- Is responsible for the safety and welfare of passengers.
- Practices sound, safe judgment when performing transportation services.
- Knows and practices infection control procedures.
- Knows and practices fire and disaster procedures.
- Knows and practices safety procedures.
- Recognizes and acts appropriately on safety hazards and incidents.
- Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
- Participant/Resident Care
- Displays knowledge and understanding of participant and resident rights.
- Provides assistance to all participants and residents, as needed.
Required Qualifications

- Drivers License (in good standing)
- Medical Exam Certification
- Must be insurable under the employers Auto Insurance Coverage
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must complete and pass in-house transportation curriculum course and pass driving evaluation. within 30 Days
