Custodian

We are looking for a Custodian to join our senior care & living team! This role is responsible for the deep cleaning of carpeted surfaces, stripping, waxing and burnishing of hard floor surfaces. This position may also perform general cleaning duties and light maintenance tasks for our Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Sarasota, FL.

This support schedule includes:

• 48 hours in two weeks
• : Day/Evening Shift: 1:30PM-10:00PM

  • Week 1 Wed, Thur, Sat
    Week 2 Wed, Thur, Sat

• Holidays as needed

Job Duties:

• Performs all floor care duties throughout the community

• Also performs the following duties throughout the community as assigned and directed:

  • Cleans designated areas in accordance with schedule.
  • Assists housekeeping staff.
  • Assists with moving boxes, furniture, etc.
  • Empties and removes trash and recycling.
  • Assists with landscaping upkeep (weeding, trimming, removing debris, etc.)
  • Assists Maintenance staff with light tasks such as changing light bulbs, plunging toilets, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned and directed

Qualifications:

Required:

• None to 1 year experience

Preferred:

• High School Diploma/GED
• One to 2 years experience
• Experience with power washers, carpet cleaners, & floor cleaners
