Job Description:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Paint, stencil, and decal freight railcars and lining to AAR, FRA, and customer requirements
- Maintain spray equipment, hoses, and fitting
- Use thickness gauges, measuring devices, personal protective equipment, and SSPC standards
- Follow safety and environmental rules on paint handling and disposal
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Industrial painting experience
- Knowledge of spray paint techniques and coating systems
- Initial trial period of 340 hours if hired as a Painter - Level 1 (Trial period pay is $17.18 to $17.55 per hour)
- Work in shop environment (rolling stock manufacturing - heavy industry)
- Subject to physical demands in walking, climbing, lifting, and crawling under equipment

Pay: $23.40 - $27.75 per hour
