Ebels General Store in Falmouth is seeking a Full-Time dedicated and reliable Sanitation Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping processing areas sanitized by following guidelines set forth by the USDA. The sanitation associate keeps buildings in clean and orderly condition. Remove all trash from assigned area and dispose of in the approved trash bins. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as sanitizing floors, meat processing areas, and equipment such as table, saws, hooks and other processing items.
Compensation for this position ranges from $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Follow procedures regarding the use of PPE.
• Sanitize processing areas using high pressure water hoses.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Move heavy equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Second shift, hours 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
- Some Saturdays required.
- Ability to lift and move 25 lbs regularly.
Salary : $14 - $17
