Junior Accountant I Sacramento, CA - Sacramento, CA 95838 Overview Salary Range $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level 2 Year Degree Travel Percentage Negligible Category Professional Services Description Position Summary Under general supervision, performs administrative and complex accounting tasks related to product costing, financial reporting and financial analysis. Essential Functions
Prepares journal entries and monthly reconciliations for monthly general ledger close. Prepares and compiles monthly financial statements and related schedules in a timely manner including the gross margin report. Prepares monthly Ebara Corporation report as well as other reporting and informational requests from EC and within ETI. Prepares and assists in preparing documentation for annual financial audit and quarterly reviews. Prepares and assists with Stravislink reporting. Reconcile and process sales representative commissions. Prepares and assists in preparing budget and other templates as well as compiling data for forecast updates and annual budgets. Oversees and assists in completion of sales tax returns. Review, update and approve new part number entries into ETI's ERP system as needed. Prepares government reports and surveys related to ETI's operations. Prepare and review monthly P&L with executive leadership. Assist with annual fixed asset physical counts. Support and backup for accounts receivable invoicing I cash receipts I collection calls I customer credit checks, and bank reconciliations. Willingness to perform other accounting staff functions including, but not limited accounts payable processing, document scanning and filing. Complies with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. Maintains clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara safety policies. Performs other duties as assigned.

Associates or Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
Experience
One (1) to Four (4) years financial accounting experience, including internal financial statement preparation and daily general ledger accounting, preferably in a multi-company environment. Working knowledge of general policies and procedures. Strong Customer Relations skills.
Skills & Abilities
Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems. Detailed knowledge of financial and managerial concepts and theories as well as cost accounting concepts and theories. Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers. Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
