Mover/Packer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, and unloading items for residential and commercial moves. Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
• Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, including wrapping fragile items and organizing belongings efficiently
• Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture as needed for safe transport
• Drive box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions to various locations following designated routes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including packing supplies and moving equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate move schedules and address any concerns
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and proper handling of goods

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations, moving services, or delivery driving is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the shift
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles is a plus
• Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and delivery driver responsibilities
• Knowledge of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients and team members
• Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently during all aspects of the job
