Job OverviewWe are looking for a cashier/customer service representative who is focused and full of positive energy to bring aboard. Looking for someone who is eager to work, responsible, compassionate and hard working. Must have means of own reliable transportation to, and from, work.Responsibilities/Qualifications-Cash handling. Operating a POS (cash register) basic mental math, handling of various amounts of cash and being responsible for it-Cleaning. Wiping down the glass counters. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.-Stocking. Always keeping products stocked and informing of any missing/out of stock products. Organization skills.-Customer service. Good verbal/communication skills, being able to handle a customer’s situation no matter the mood they are confronted by. Good natured and mature.-Retaining knowledge. There is a lot of information needing to be known about the various types of products we carry. Being able to learn quickly and adapt to any new products that could possibly come into the store.-Reliability. Someone who shows up for all of their shifts and is punctual. Being able to work with your co workers if there are any sick call ins. An employees punctuality/attendance is very important to us.-Being able to take responsibilities into their own hands, not having to be told what to do at all times (someone who can step back and think outside of the box)-Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.Experience-Prior vape/tobacco shop experience is highly preferred for this position. Knowledge of smoking devices (includes disposable vapes, mods etc.) Also, any prior experience working in a high traffic convenience store.-Handling cash/safe drops/exchanging of change for the cash register drawer.We are looking for someone who will demonstrate all of the above to their full potential, as that is a sure way to work your way up the ladder to higher wages, full time and maybe even a managerial position. Candidate must have means of an reliable transportation to get to, and from, work. Punctuality is VERY important.
