Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at the Eau Galle Cheese Factory Shop in Elmwood, WI. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting all work performed. The Maintenance Technician will also assist with equipment upgrades, support production staff with technical issues, follow safety and sanitation standards, and collaborate with supervisors to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for production and facility systems.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance on mechanical and basic electrical components.
- Experience or training in Industrial Maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and management teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or related field is a plus.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift moderate weights, and work in a production environment with varying temperatures.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, including occasional overtime or weekends as needed.
