Eau Claire Business Interiors is a local, small business proudly serving businesses and organizations throughout the region. We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Commercial Interiors Installer to join our growing team.

In this hands-on position, you’ll help deliver, install, and complete commercial interior projects for businesses throughout the region. Our work includes office furniture, workstations, window treatments, lockers, casework, cabinetry, and other commercial interior products.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working with their hands, and can represent ECBI professionally at customer job sites. If you have experience in construction, finish work, furniture installation, cabinetry, or commercial interiors, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, assemble, and install commercial office furniture, workstations, and related components
• Install window treatments, lockers, casework, cabinetry, furniture, and other commercial interior products
• Complete finish installation work with attention to detail and quality
• Read work orders, installation drawings, packing lists, and project paperwork
• Prepare materials and products for upcoming deliveries and installation projects
• Load and unload company trucks safely and efficiently
• Unpack products, receive freight shipments, and inspect materials for damage
• Verify quantities and materials by comparing packing lists to purchase orders
• Properly stage, organize, and protect materials at the warehouse and job site
• Safely lift, carry, move, and install products weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Operate basic hand and power tools
• Drive company trucks to and from customer job sites; CDL is not required
• Communicate with project managers, installers, warehouse staff, and customers to keep projects on track
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at every job site
• Occasionally travel overnight for commercial window treatment installation projects, typically about once per month. Receive per diem on meals and stays for qualifying overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable working on your feet and performing physical, hands-on work throughout the day
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Construction, finish carpentry, cabinetry, furniture installation, or commercial interiors experience preferred
• Ability to read basic installation instructions, work orders, and project paperwork preferred
• Willingness to travel overnight periodically for installation projects
• Leadership mindset and willingness to take ownership of assigned projects
