Host — The Lively

As the first point of contact for guests, the Host/Hostess sets the tone for their dining experience. You will greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure the flow of the dining room operates smoothly. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality are key.

We are looking to add friendly and focused hosts to our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet Guests: Welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Reservation Management: Manage reservations and seating assignments using the restaurant’s reservation system.
• Seating Guests: Escort guests to their tables while ensuring seating arrangements optimize guest experience and service flow.
• Maintain Waitlists: Accurately handle waitlists during peak times, providing guests with accurate wait times.
• Communicate Effectively: Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service.
• Answer Inquiries: Respond to questions about the menu, hours, and restaurant policies in a knowledgeable and friendly manner.
• Support Cleanliness: Ensure the entryway, host station, and waiting areas are clean and organized.
• Assist Team: Provide support to servers and other front-of-house staff as needed

Work Environment:

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Weekend and evening availability required.
