We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver and Installer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver products to residential or commercial locations following planned routes.
- Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Execute precise delivery and installation of products, ensuring they are set up correctly according to specifications.
- Interact professionally with customers during delivery and installation appointments, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Follow all traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and company safety policies during route driving and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including signatures, delivery logs, and incident reports as needed.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards for commercial truck driving.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or installer, with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving items, and manual handling tasks throughout the day.
- Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations for commercial driving.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation purposes.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
