Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Material Handler- 1st Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am until 2:30 pm. What You’ll Do
- Responsible for unloading and loading raw material from trucks and/or other departments to keep flow of product smooth and efficient.
- Move raw material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap.
- Operate forklifts.
- Store, space, and deliver materials or products.
- Stack pallets and arrange materials.
- May be required to palletize and secure material as needed.
- Receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).
- Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
- Use the spotter truck to move flatbed and dry van trailers as needed or required.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Valid state issued driver’s license required.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

- Strong product knowledge.
- Forklift experience both stand up and sit down.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending.
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
- Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
- Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.
