Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Quality Inspector III - 1st Shift.
The hours for this role are 7am-3:30pm
The hourly rate for this position is $27.00- $31.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do
The Quality Inspector will perform inspections of parts, assemblies, and documentation.
In This Function You Will
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and products, including but not limited to mechanical and visual inspections.
- Work to approved inspection checklists, engineering drawings, purchase orders, work instructions and specifications.
- Utilize Non-Conforming Material Control process to document parts that do not meet specifications.
- Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible, you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- 3 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspection of parts and assemblies.
- 3 years of experience using business class software in a professional employment setting.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons

- No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Orchard Park, NY facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Previous experience with Lean Six Sigma
- Previous experience with Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP)
- Previous experience with interpreting Engineering Drawings, Workmanship Standards, Military and Federal Specifications, and basic GD&T (Basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Previous experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102
- ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrates clear and professional verbal and written communication
- Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills
- Collaborates effectively to achieve shared goals
- Provides responsive, professional and solution - oriented customer support
- Report and interpret key data findings
