What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift position at Eaton?
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift to join our team.
The hourly rate for this position is $27 per hour.
The core hours 7 AM - 4 PM.

What you’ll do:
In this function you will:
- Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs.
- Record and schedule preventative maintenance.
- Requisition parts, materials, labor and support to complete job tasks.
- Fabricate replacement parts as needed for machinery.
- Lead and manage special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience.

- Welding experience and / or certifications
- Hazardous waste management / Hazardous waste operations emergency response
- Lock Out / Tag Out Certified
- HVAC training and / or certifications
- Basic experience with computers and Microsoft Office.
Position Criteria:
- Knowledge of electrical systems and devices
- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
