Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift at our Highland, IL facility! The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The rate for this position is $27.92 per hour plus an additional $.50/hour shift differential.

The maintenance technician is responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment, plant, and associated systems.
In This Function, You Will
- Install equipment/machinery.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.
- Operate a variety of lifts etc.
- Maintain and follow all safety requirements.
- Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment. Maintain/clean work areas.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year of industrial maintenance experience.
- Must have a High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent from an accredited institution
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL will be considered. Active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

- Experience in metal fabrication.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment
- Ability to modify or program PLC’s and HMI’s a plus
