Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Fabrication Senior Production Supervisor in Sumter, SC. The hours are Friday - Sunday from 5am - 5pm.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $94000 - $138000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you’ll do:
In the Senior Production Supervisor role, you will lead and support Fabrication operations to safely manufacture and deliver products for internal and interunit customers, in alignment with engineering design specifications and quality standards, while meeting or exceeding established on-time delivery goals. This role requires clear and effective written and verbal communication and collaboration across all levels of plant personnel.
Serve as a primary point of contact for leadership regarding production matters within your area of responsibility.- Assess workload requirements and delegate tasks effectively to ensure adequate staffing and support for production needs.
- Oversee team training initiatives, facilitate shift meetings, maintain cross-shift communication, and promote teamwork and operational consistency.
- Develop, review, and update departmental standard work; ensure team members receive training and can demonstrate proficiency. Participate in employee assessment, selection, training, coaching, and development to foster strong performance and growth.
- Support and/or lead initiatives related to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, including attending meetings and participating in audits (ISO, MESH, OpA, etc.) for the Fabrication department.
- Promote a safe, engaged, and inclusive workplace by ensuring compliance with all policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment, while maintaining 5S standards.
- Ensure production goals are met and team leaders understand their responsibilities in fulfilling customer orders.
- Collaborate with quality teams to address and resolve quality concerns, reinforce the importance of quality standards, and review trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing, Operations, or Technical process on a production floor experience
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience managing people or project teams

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Three years of leadership experience managing 25 people or leading project teams.
- Experience in steel and/or copper fabrication
- Lean manufacturing / Operational Excellence skills in 5S , Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, etc.
- Experience in Dynamic Machine Management (DMM), AS400, Vista, Enovia
