Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement (OpEx) Manager.

This role is permanently located in Jonesville, SC. The role will be remote (in the United States) until Late 2026/Early 2027. Relocation assistance will be provided.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You'll Do

The CI Manager oversees Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence programs to drive strategic success and plant performance. They lead manufacturing engineering, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, cost reduction, controls engineering, and capital projects while managing budgets and deploying Eaton Business System processes. The role focuses on improving processes, achieving world-class metrics, and fostering employee engagement through learning, deployment, and recognition.

In This Role You Will

  • Develops and manages plans to improve production and office processes using ELSS, EQS, CIF, and EBS tools.
  • Owns plant cost-out and capital processes; monitors and reports financial impact of cost reduction programs.
  • Partners with plant manager to drive annual goal setting, metric reviews, and Continuous Improvement council activities.
  • Promotes a digital mindset, leveraging Industry 4.0 and IT teams for visual metrics and real-time process feedback.
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to achieve end-to-end operational goals.
  • Supports and oversees MESH aspects of facility systems and coordinates maintenance and upgrades.
  • Provides MESH oversight for contractor work related to facility systems maintenance and improvements.
  • Leads site capital budget planning and monitors installation of MESH-related capital equipment projects.
  • Directs staff and contractors in manufacturing repair parts and modifications to facility systems and equipment.
  • Leads plant EBEA and OpA assessments; benchmarks and shares best practices across Eaton locations.
  • Participates in corporate ELSS council functions and drives employee engagement in CI activities.
  • Creates learning frameworks for front-line leaders, engineers, and team leads focused on Continuous Improvement.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Continuous Improvement (Operational Excellence).
  • Three (3) years of experience in leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI or equivalent tools to develop dashboards and visual metrics for operational performance.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification and experience in maintenance management.
