JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
Position Summary The Oracle EBS Technical Architect supports the design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Oracle EBS system and its applications, ensuring robust, standards-driven solutions that meet business needs. |
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
|
- Build and extend Oracle EBS functionality using SQL, PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions), Forms, Reports, XML/BI Publisher, OAF extensions, workflows, and interfaces, adhering to Oracle and internal standards.
- Leverage Oracle EBS architecture, APIs, and table structures to develop EDI solutions (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and custom integrations.
- Collaborate with senior Oracle EBS team members, IT staff, functional experts, and end users to define technical and functional requirements.
- Provide daily technical support for Oracle EBS, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues for business users.
- Review requirements and create technical design docs, keeping them updated per change management processes.
- Apply working knowledge of Oracle R12, 11g RDBMS, Developer 10g (Forms, Reports), Linux, Workflow Builder, SOA, Java, and Business Intelligence tools.
- Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders to gather and share technical details.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and systems, maintain up-to-date skills, and pursue relevant industry certifications as needed.
- Back up other IT team members in cross-trained roles as needed.

Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems related field or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- 6 years of systems design and implementation
- Practical knowledge of Oracle EBS modules:
- Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Work in Process, Configure to Order, Oracle Purchasing, Receivables, General Ledger, Payables, Payments, Cash Management, Advanced Collections, Mobile Supply Chain, Inventory, Cost Management, Bills of Material
