- Trouble shoot, repair, install Lifts, Lubrication Systems, Air Compressors, Exhaust systems and other Automotive Shop Equipment.
- Travel from jobsite to jobsite in a company supplied vehicle.
- Present yourself professionally as a representative of Eaton. This includes a clean, properly maintained vehicle and clothing.
- Accurately maintain a truck inventory of repair parts and consumables.
- Accurately and clearly communicate service findings and needs.
- Obtain and maintain factory and industry certifications through both classroom and on-line courses.
- Practice all safety policies and procedures as established by Eaton Sales & Service.
- Be flexible to change from ever changing service demands.
- Stand or walk frequently and for long durations.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use hands and arms to grasp, reach for, handle, and assemble or manipulate objects.
- Lift and carry materials and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Climb up and down ladders and other objects.
- Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, stoop and twist and perform duties using appropriate tools and equipment within safety standards.
- Hear (naturally or with correction) on sites where the hearing of backup alarms or other sounds maybe required.
- Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively in inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to travel out of town with overnights on occasion.
- Previous experience in the Automotive Equipment industry.
- Previous experience in running piping systems.
- ALI Lift Inspector Certification.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
