Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Inspector - 1st Shift at 415 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC. The core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F. The hourly rate for this position is $20.94 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you’ll do: As a Quality Inspector, you will carry out a wide range of detailed inspection activities required by customers to ensure products meet or exceed specifications. This includes selecting the appropriate inspection tools, methods, and procedures based on product type and customer expectations. In this role, you will: * Perform thorough inspections of materials, components, and finished goods to ensure they meet all quality and safety standards. * Use various measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product compliance with specifications. * Accurately record inspection data, maintain test and measurement documentation, and report any non‑conformance issues. * Identify, document, and communicate defects, deviations, or areas for improvement in products or processes. * Ensure adherence to regulatory, industry, customer, and internal standards (e.g., ISO). * Partner with production teams to provide quality feedback and recommend corrective actions. * Suggest improvements based on inspection findings and data analysis. * Conduct routine audits of production processes and quality systems to confirm ongoing compliance. * Provide guidance or training to team members on quality standards and inspection practices. * Perform follow-up inspections to confirm corrective actions have been completed effectively.
