Material Controller - 2nd Shift (Stockroom)

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Material Controller - 2nd Shift (Stockroom) at our facility in Jackson, MS! This role aligns to a 2nd Shift schedule from 3:30pm - 12am Monday - Friday. The hourly rate for this position is $20.41 plus $1 shift differential per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What You'll Do * Prepare and package parts as needed to prepare for stocking. * Ensure all shipments meet sales order requirements to ensure proper amounts, identification and correct materials are present. * Fork lift operation required. * Perform computer transactions to ensure inventory accuracy. * Full participation in physical inventory activity. * Cycle count performance and basic reconciliation per current work instructions. * Meet and maintain established standard production pull rate. * Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and work rules. * Maintain clean and orderly work area to required standard. * Perform/operate all stockroom functions and equipment effectively and accurately per current work instructions. * Consistent involvement in team/work place improvement processes and procedures. * Create and maintain a customer centric environment through accuracy of work and on-going improvement based on results and feedback. * Load, unload, and move parts through facility on frequent basis. Some occasional heavy lifting (60 lbs.) may be required. * Perform other duties required within the job classification. * Notify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications observable in the normal course of performing duties such as quantity and work order packages. * Perform operator defined 5S/TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) tasks as required. ## Qualifications: Required Qualifications • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required • Minimum of 2 years prior work experience required • This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Jackson, MS will be considered.
