Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $33.80 per hour. The hours for this shift are 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility. What you’ll do: • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery, equipment, tools, and components. • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation. • Make necessary adjustments, repairs, and equipment modifications as required. • Conduct general facility maintenance, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and related building repairs. • Support the operation and maintenance of the in-house wastewater treatment system. • Safely operate industrial vehicles and equipment used for material handling, machine relocation, and rigging activities. • Assist with the installation, setup, relocation, and commissioning of machinery and equipment. • Perform basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities. • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date maintenance records and documentation. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all environmental, health, and safety standards. Actively communicate with team members to identify, reduce, and eliminate potential workplace hazards while promoting a culture of continuous safety improvement. ## Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. • Minimum one (1) year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, military, maintenance, or a related technical field, or completion of an accredited Maintenance Technician certification program. • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment, immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
