EHS Training Coordinator

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a EHS Training Coordinator. This role is located at our Jonesville, SC facility. No relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $59000 - $86000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you’ll do: The EHS Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, delivering, and continuously improving environmental, health, safety, and compliance training programs. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, workforce competency, risk reduction, and safe work practices. The position serves as the site subject matter expert for EHS training and is responsible for training needs assessments, curriculum development, instructor-led facilitation, compliance tracking, training record administration, and improvement of training effectiveness. In this role you will: • You will lead the coordination and maintenance of site-wide EHS training programs for a workforce of 300 fulltime and contingent workers, growing to 700 by 2031. • You will conduct training needs assessments and identify competency gaps. • You will facilitate engaging instructor-led training for large audiences and small groups, including New Employee Orientation and technical training. • You will develop and modify content as needed utilizing various media including, but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, video & photography. • You will partner with HR Training Coordinators and functional leaders to update training content, maintain training records, follow up on missed training, support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with internal systems and programs. • You will manage site-wide training updates & communications via monthly reports, newsletters, meetings & monitors. • You will support special projects, internal & external benchmarking and facilitate training sessions as assigned. • You will drive for evaluate training effectiveness for continuous improvement and support 5S initiatives in support of a Zero Incident Culture. ## Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • Two (2) years of experience developing, coordinating, or delivering training programs for adult learners in a manufacturing, industrial, EHS, or technical environment. • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Education, Adult Learning, Training & Development, Safety, Business, Communications, or related field. • Two (2) years of experience with responsibilities for a site wide training program. • One (1) year experience developing video content ## Skills: • Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills. • Demonstrated ability to work independently. • Demonstrated ability to confidently facilitate training for large audiences. • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word) • Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment while meeting set targets • Effective interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams without authority • Strong organization, project management skills, attention to detail and thorough analytical skills • Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
