Eaton Construction Services is a fast-growing commercial general contractor delivering high-quality projects across Tennessee and the Southeast. Since our founding in 2018, we’ve consistently achieved rapid year-over-year growth and are expanding into new markets throughout NASCLA-licensed states. We specialize in ground-up and renovation projects valued around $1 million and beyond, with an emphasis on technology-enabled project management and client communication.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to accelerate our expansion into the corporate client market—retail, office, restaurant, and other private-sector facilities. This senior leader will have/leverage their preexisting well-established professional network capable of generating $10–15 million in new project opportunities within the first year to secure negotiated and lump-sum work, position Eaton on preferred vendor lists, and build long-term relationships with decision makers across large corporations and AEC firms.
What You’ll Do
Drive significant new business with corporate clients and national accounts.
Cultivate relationships with executives, developers, and design professionals to secure negotiated contracts and repeat work.
Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop competitive proposals and strategic pursuits.
Represent Eaton at key industry events, associations, and client meetings.
Lead and mentor a growing business development team as our footprint expands.
What We’re Looking For
Extensive Contact Network: A proven rainmaker with a deep, active book of corporate and AEC contacts able to bring $10–15M in construction opportunities upon joining.
Track record of winning large negotiated or lump-sum projects and landing spots on corporate bid lists.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
