What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder Production - Basket Fabricator - 1st Shift position at Eaton and Careers?
Eaton’s IS Filtration division is currently seeking a Welder Production - Basket Fabricator - 1st Shift. The core hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
- Read and interpret prints, charts, work orders and other documents used in the manufacture of strainer baskets
- Accurately use measurement and cutting equipment such as tape measures calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut off tools, grinders, engraver and inductive spot welding machines
- Use roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal components
- Assist with cycle counting of inventory and annual physical inventory as needed
All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for:
- Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards
- Complying with all work and process instructions
- Identifying improvement opportunities
- Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job
- Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
- Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- A minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment

- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Williamsport, MD (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

- Basic computer and software skills
