Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 3rd Shift. Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Business in Meadow Lands, PA is part of the Commercial Products Group. This facility manufactures and assembles products for commercial electrical distribution. The core hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The hourly rate for this position is $19.74 per hour plus $1.00/hr shift differential. The base rate increases after 6 months to $20.78/hour.
What you’ll do:
This position is responsible for inspecting and assembling commercial electrical products. Employees in this role often work with others in the department and must communicate and work well in a team environment. Entry level position with on-the-job training.
- Operate production equipment, including but not limited to welders, presses, benders, and switchboxes in accordance to work instructions.
- Operate machines, monitor the equipment operations, and record operational production data.
- Inspect finished products for quality per standard work instructions.
- Complete production reports to communicate production output to management.
- Maintain housekeeping in work area.
- Perform overhead work on one or more lines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
