Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Janitor - 2nd Shift.
The hours for this role are 3:00pm-11:00pm
The hourly rate for this position is $20.76 per hour.

What you’ll do:
Perform duties prescribed in the daily and monthly schedules and procedures. Complete the daily check sheet and turn into your supervisor. Perform snow removal and sanding of walks as required. Water lawn in spring and summer. Perform related miscellaneous duties as required.Report troubles, hazards or unusual conditions to supervisor. Maintain work area, equipment, supplies, and tools in clean,orderly, safe and habitual condition. Maintain the 55 standard throughout the facility. Observe safety precautions, company rulesand regulations.
Perform a variety of routine housekeeping and janitorial duties as directed or assigned.
- Production Area Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors (including using floor buffers), wiping down machinery, cleaning windows/partitions, and dusting production equipment.
- Sanitation & Hygiene: Cleaning and restocking restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces like door handles and tools.
- Waste Management: Efficiently collecting, sorting (trash/recycling), and disposing of waste materials.
- Industiral Cleaning : Operating specialized equipment (floor scrubbers, power washers) and safely handling industrial cleaning agents/chemicals.
- Maintenance Support: Changing light bulbs, cleaning air vents, reporting maintenance needs (like plumbing/electrical issues) to management, and performing minor repairs
Qualifications:
- Requires the ability to read and write and to carry out instructions in performing various Janitorial duties.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- 6 months experience as a janitor
Skills:
- Involves some judgment in janitorial duties as well as minor decision making.
- Light physical effort in frequently working with light material in the removal and disposal of litter, scrap, and other refuse, as well as occasional snow removal.
- Frequent mental and/or visual attention required.
