Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Meal Prep Packer to join our fast-paced food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing finished meals, ensuring packaging accuracy, labeling consistency, and quality standards are met. Your speed, cleanliness, and attention to detail will play a key role in keeping our kitchen operations running smoothly and ensuring customers receive fresh, correctly packaged meals every time. Responsibilities
- Pack finished meals into approved containers and packaging materials to ensure freshness and safe transport
- Seal meals securely using proper packaging techniques (lids, stickers, heat seal, bags, etc.) to prevent leaks or damage
- Label meals accurately (meal name, delivery date, customer name, allergens, etc.) to ensure correct fulfillment
- Organize and assemble meal orders by customer or route to ensure timely and accurate delivery or pickup
- Perform quality checks on packed meals to confirm packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and overall presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing station, storage areas, and tools while following food safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist with production line support tasks such as restocking containers, organizing supplies, breaking down boxes, and maintaining workflow
- Work closely with team members to meet daily packing goals while maintaining speed, accuracy, and high quality standards
Preferred Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a high-volume environment
- Ability to remain organized while handling multiple meal orders at once
- Familiarity with basic food safety and sanitation practices (gloves, hairnets, clean station habits)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes/trays when needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
