Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast POS and Touch Bistro POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy using POS systems
- Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling, preparation, and serving procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee-making skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience in serving food and beverages with professionalism and efficiency
