Role Description
This is a full-time on-site (mobile, in home and community) Pediatric Occupational Therapist role based in Riverside, CA county. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and providing hands-on intervention for children with various developmental needs. The therapist will implement parent coaching and early intervention strategies, and collaborate with families to facilitate meaningful progress. Participation in team meetings and maintaining comprehensive documentation of treatment are essential aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sensory Integration and Occupational Therapy practices
- Experience with Pediatrics and Early Intervention
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children in therapeutic settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to involve families in the therapeutic process
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Previous experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred but not required
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
